Urns
from fungal mycelium
Rest in Pilz.
Evig tells the story of the eternal cycle of life. In harmony with nature, our products, made from the Reishi mushroom and a natural raw material, grow in just seven days. The "divine mushroom" originally comes from the remote, mountainous forests of Japan.
With Evig, we offer modern, nature-inspired funeral products that allow for a conscious farewell and provide comfort during times of grief. In addition to a lovingly designed urn, our range includes memorial ribbons that can be individually decorated, as well as a memorial sphere that serves as a symbolic companion both for pre-planning and in the event of a sudden bereavement.
Our Reishi mushroom is considered the mushroom of eternal life and immortality, and this is exactly the cycle we stand for with Evig (abbreviation of the German word for eternal).

material
This is how our products are created
The material grows within seven days from mushroom mycelium, the root-like network of the Reishi mushroom. Within the protected space of a mold, the mycelium grows through a natural substrate, connecting and shaping it. Underground, the mold decomposes in up to 180 days; in space, it remains intact.
Thus, our urn Evig also gently returns to the eternal cycle of nature as a breeding ground for new life.
Their organic feel and vibrant structure create a warm closeness, offer support, stimulate the senses and enable a new, tangible form of memory.

Customer testimonials
Max U.
"When my father died, we chose the Evig urn. On the day of his funeral, I was able to carry him through the memorial forest to his grave. In that moment, I felt a deep connection to him, as the urn in my hands absorbed my body heat. It wasn’t a separate container; I was connected to my father. That made the moment a little easier for me and gave me strength."
